Brief

Following the merger of Fabian Architects and Make Studio in 2015, FAM (Fabian and Make Architects and Interiors) was ready to step into a new identity. With a new name and visual language in place, they needed a website that could capture the full spectrum of their offering across architecture, interiors, planning, and concept development, while demonstrating their ability to deliver creative, commercially viable work across residential and commercial spaces.

INSIGHT/CHALLENGE

Each of the original studios had distinct digital footprints that no longer served the vision of the new brand. The challenge was to bring them together into a single digital experience that felt cohesive and true to FAM’s evolved identity.

The new website needed to communicate FAM’s design philosophy: that architecture is about shaping meaningful experiences, not just creating spaces. At the same time, it had to showcase the full breadth of their expertise across architecture and interiors.

Striking the right balance between bold visual storytelling and a scalable, future-ready backend was key. Just as important, it needed to highlight FAM’s versatility and innovation, and their ability to merge design artistry with commercial practicality.

STRATEGY

We approached this as an opportunity to define FAM’s voice, vision, and value through design. The strategy centred on clarity and cohesion by simplifying the structure, amplifying the storytelling, and designing a system that allows FAM to evolve their digital presence. A modular content framework and bold, editorial style visuals help showcase the studio’s versatility, while subtle UX cues guide users through an intuitive journey.

EXECUTION

We rebuilt the site, rethinking structure, flow, and visual direction. The result is a sleek, responsive platform built in Webflow with a fully integrated CMS that gives FAM full control over content, case studies, and future updates. The design system balances minimalism with impact, using scale, typography, and imagery to showcase a wide range of work, from large-scale developments to personal, detail-driven interiors. It’s a considered digital space that reflects who FAM is: creative, versatile, and built for what’s next.
