Job Overview

About the Role

This role requires a strategic creative thinker who understands social media trends, content creation, audience engagement, and performance analytics. You will be responsible for executing high-impact social media campaigns, ensuring that content is not only visually compelling but also strategically aligned to business objectives.

You will own the end-to-end social media process, from strategy to content ideation to execution, engagement, and reporting. While collaborating with designers, digital strategists, and content creators.

Your goal:

Build engaging, results-driven social media campaigns that spark conversations, grow communities, and deliver business impact.

This is a remote position, but collaboration is key, although remote this will require in-person meeting and on-site presence will take place with client and team members from time to time. You will work closely with a cross-functional team.

Responsibilities:


Content Strategy & Planning

  • Develop content calendars & social strategies aligned with client KPIs.
  • Conceptualise creative campaign ideas to boost engagement and conversions.
  • Develop brand-aligned content strategies, ensuring tone of voice is consistent across platforms.
  • Identify and leverage emerging trends, platform features, and viral opportunities.

Content Creation & Execution

  • Write engaging social media copy, captions, and campaign messaging.
  • Work with designers and video editors to create high-quality visual content (images, carousels, reels, TikToks, stories, and long-form video).
  • Plan, create, and schedule multi-platform content (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Twitter, YouTube, etc.).

Community Engagement & Growth

  • Actively monitor and engage with audiences in real time—responding to comments, messages, and brand mentions.
  • Cultivate brand advocates and identify opportunities for UGC (User-Generated Content).
  • Manage crisis communication and social media reputation management.

Campaign Management & Paid Social

  • Plan paid social media campaigns for reach, engagement, and conversion in collaboration with the media team
  • A/B test ad creatives, copy, and audiences to optimise performance.
  • Work closely with the performance team to ensure campaigns align with broader digital marketing strategies.

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Track, measure, and analyze social media performance metrics (engagement, reach, impressions, CTR, conversions, etc.).
  • Use insights to refine content strategies and improve results over time.
  • Deliver weekly/monthly performance reports with clear recommendations.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in social media management, digital content strategy, or related roles.
  • Strong copywriting skills with a keen understanding of brand tone and messaging.
  • Experience with Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, and emerging platforms.
  • Proficiency in social media scheduling & analytics tools (Meta Business Suite, Sprout Social, Hootsuite, etc.).
  • Familiarity with Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, or other design tools is a bonus.
  • Strong organisational skills, ability to multitask, and meet deadlines
